MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

One of the 12 world’s most beautiful National Parks due to its wide variety of flora and fauna. A picturesque mid level hike with two white sand beaches, Espadilla Sur and Manuel Antonio Beach at this protected area which houses coastal rainforests, mangrove swamps, coral formations and islands. Throughout this natural history tour, your guide will explain the different nature specimens that can be observed, you can take photographs or just admire the view. Upon completing the hike, you will have some spare time for you at the beach. The park is closed on Mondays.

SAVEGRE RIVER RAFTING

For the adventuresome beginner and experienced rafter the class III rapids will have you filled with adrenaline as you paddle hard over the water. Along the way, you will be astonished by the awesome canyons, waterfalls, and primary rainforest of Costa Rica at Savegre River, one of the most pristine rivers in Costa Rica, and is surrounded by impressive views of the primary rainforest and you will find a number of truly magnificent waterfalls of the Savegre’s tributaries. At the 3/4 of day trip to this beautiful Costa Rica river rafting you will visit a waterfall and get to explore the natural swimming pools in the area surrounded by blooming heliconias.

Horseback Riding

Your guide will give you briefing on the history of Quepos on your way to a scenic property that has bathrooms, stables, a corral and an open air waiting area. This Manuel Antonio tour allows you to uncover the exotic secrets that lie within this secondary rainforest.

Your horse ride lasts approximately two-and-a-half hour round trip and it will be highlighted by views of the valley, verdant vegetation and numerous wildlife species such as birds and reptiles. At the end of the trail there is a beautiful waterfall where you will be able to rest for about 30 minutes.

At the end of your Manuel Antonio tour you will be served a delicious lunch made with local ingredients.

Ocean Kayaking

Enjoy a paddling tour through Manuel Antonio’s coastline. The tour departs on the south side of Quepos and begins paddling towards Playa Biesanz. From a vantage point only possible in kayaks, you will experience Manuel Antonio’s breathtaking cliffs and beautiful rock formations as we follow the coastline. Midway, a stop for fresh fruits and snacks at a secluded beach takes place as you relax in the whitesand beach.

You will paddle near rock formations where one can see many shore birds nesting or gliding on the thermals created by the offshore winds that hit this rocky outcrop. To conclude our tour we will paddle back to Quepos. Our summer sunset trips are strongly recommended. Crystal kayaks are also available for your enjoyment.
